Our Vision

Our vision is a Europe cleaner, healthier and less dependent on oil. With our pioneering ‘electric vehicle as a service’ model we facilitate the deployment of electric vehicles into logistic fleets in a smooth, cost effective, and risk free manner. Your transition to electric has never been easier.

THE STORY OF VOLTIA

Air pollution poses the single greatest environmental health threat in Europe. Each day, Europe spends 1bn Euro’s on oil, just to burn large portion of it on our streets and poison the air we breathe.  In London alone, 9.500 people die each year because of air pollution, mostly caused by diesel buses, vans, trucks taxis and passenger cars.

Light commercial vehicles are a significant and growing part of the problem. They are second only to passenger cars in number of new vehicles registered each year, with significantly higher average mileage. The explosion of e-commerce, often including ‘free delivery’ is worsening the situation.

This is the problem Voltia is here to address.

Our vision is a Europe cleaner, healthier and less dependent on oil. With our pioneering ‘electric vehicle as a service’ model we facilitate the deployment of electric vehicles into logistic fleets in a smooth, cost effective, and risk free manner.

Voltia provides logistics professionals with e-mobility solutions customized to their individual business needs. Our service includes route analysis and selection of those routes able to be served with electric vehicles, the best commercial electric vehicles available, access to and/or construction of charging infrastructure, electric energy, training, service and maintenance, a web based fleet monitoring system and excellent, ongoing user guidance and support.

We have tested, refined, and piloted this model for the last few years with several major logistics companies and national postal carriers. Our focused specialization in the 2-3.5 ton van segment and our holistic approach to large scale electric vehicle deployment make us your most experienced and capable partner for commercial fleet electrification in Europe

The model has been well received around Europe and was a finalist for the 2016 European Sustainable Energy “Best in Business” award. It has successfully lowered the barriers to incorporating electric vehicles into the delivery business and made the transition to electric possible and realistic for many.

The Voltia Group

Voltia is the flagship company of the Voltia Group, an international consortium of companies motivated by the desire to end our dependence on oil and provide cleaner mobility solutions for people and business.  In addition to Voltia itself, the Voltia Group includes companies dedicated to battery technology R&D, building public charging infrastructure and providing charging services to EV owners, and a series of regional offices for working with suppliers and customers.  After recently receiving a major investment from a leading investment fund, we are expanding to new European markets.
